Welcome to MJB '96
First and foremost we would like to thank all of the participants in the 2nd annual tournament. A
special note of gratitude to Bill McKendry, II for once again assisting with the post-tourney scoring
summaries and computations.
Stacey Buttel topped the field with an amazing low handicap score of 44. Wow! Her boyfriend
Doug Jones promises she had just taken up the game earlier in the year and simply "played her butt
off" that day. Ironically, Doug also brought our low scratch champion Roy Porter to the field. He
fired off an impressive 77 nipping runner-up Bill McKendry, II by just one stroke.
Skins went to :
-Bill McKendry, II who birdied the 522 yd. par 5 2nd hole;
-Doug Bryant who birdied the 177 yd par 3 7th hole;
-Jim Brochowski who birdied the 350 yd par 4 9th hole;
-Jim Jones who birdied the 393 yd par 4 16th hole.
